Laura Jane Vincent is a performer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter. She writes
ballads of strength loss and triumph featuring stories of those who should know better but just
simply can't help themselves. Her most recent album “All These Machines” released February 2020, is available everywhere. She tours the entire east coast and Midwest when there’s not an unexpected global health event in the way. She is currently working on her 3rd full length album, once again at Black Rabbit Audio studio with award winning producer Tom Troyer, who also is a permanent member of her live band.
She was named by the Triad Music Festival AMPD Expo as songwriter of the year for 2017. She is also the creator and curator of the twice annual music festival Glendonfest in Moore County, NC. Established in 2016, the event features 25+ regional and national touring acts over two days in the spring and fall.
In addition to promoting and performing her own music, Laura also is the manager and publicist
for a handful of select music clients, creatively directing their career trajectories and all tasks
related to booking and representation. She also serves on the community advisory board for the
North Carolina Folk Festival, and assists with the production and successful creation of various
entertainment events across the southeast. She lives in a 200 year old farmhouse on 21 acres in the middle of nowhere in southeastern rural North Carolina with her partner, drummer David Tippetts and an ever changing menagerie of fuzzy pets.
His & Hers is a husband and wife fronted Americana folk band from North Carolina. Caleb and Sara Davis have been playing together as His & Hers since 2013. They have released 3 albums, including “Come On In”, out in September 2022.
His & Hers has played many festivals and stages, including Merlefest, AppaloosaFest, The CBC Bluegrass Festival, The Daniel Boone Festival, The Ramkat, The Blue Ridge Music Center Amphitheatre, The COMMA Theatre, Muddy Creek Music Hall, and many others. They have shared the stage with and/or opened for many regional and national touring Americana acts including: Scythian, Dom Flemmons (Carolina Chocolate Drops), Mason Via (Old Crow Medicine Show), Zoe & Cloyd, Joe Mullins & Radio Ramblers, Cane Mill Road, Caroline Owens, Hank Smith & Pattie Kinlaw, Tyler Nail and many more.
